🟢 WhatsApp — I'm ReadyThe Udyam Registration portal (udyamregistration.gov.in) was launched by the Ministry of MSME in July 2020 under the revised MSMED Act. It replaced the earlier Udyog Aadhaar system and introduced a PAN and GSTIN-linked registration process tied directly to government databases — making the registration paperless and self-certified.
India has over 63 million MSMEs employing approximately 110 million people and contributing around 30% of GDP. The Udyam certificate is the entry point to this entire ecosystem of government support — from the CGTMSE credit guarantee scheme to the MSME Samadhan delayed payment portal.
